Why buy from Joe & Denise?

As writers, most of our books are available at all the usual stores. But when you buy from us directly, you are supports the way you would if you bought, say, mittens from a maker at your local craft fair. The money you spend goes directly into our pockets and not that of some multinational corporation.

That said, some of the products on our store are NOT available anywhere else.

Do you offer refunds?

You can find our complete refund policy at the bottom of every page of our website.

In short: If you get a physical product from us that is damaged in some way, we will refund or replace it upon your return of the item(s) to us. We don't refund shipping. If you would simply like to return an item for whatever reason, you have 30 days to do so. They must be returned in their original unused, unread, resalable condition. You are responsible for the cost of shipping back to us.

We cannot offer refunds on digital goods because there is no way for you to return the product to us. Once an ebook is delivered, it is yours. However, if a file is damaged or you received the wrong ebook, we will make it right.

Sales of "limited edition" items are final due to their one-of-a-kind nature.

How soon will I get my ebooks? What about print books?

Paperbacks & Journals: Printed on-demand by our independent printer when you order. Allow 10–15 days for delivery. Most orders are shipped via media mail.

Ebooks: Digital products are delivered via email through BookFunnel after manual order approval. (That usually takes less than 24 hours.) Download to your device immediately.

Will it be hard to put your ebooks on my device?

No! We use a service called BookFunnel to deliver digital goods. It's easy to use. Each email they send includes instructions for downloading ebooks and getting it onto your device specifically. It takes a few steps, but it's a breeze. They have the best customer service as well, so if you run into problems, they have your back. You'll get instruction for how to contact them in the email with your book(s).

What if my ereader breaks in the future, or I switch to another device?

Your entire library of books you purchase from us will always live within your larger BookFunnel library on the cloud. If you get a new device, you can easily transfer your books to that device.

BookFunnel also offers their own app, if you would prefer to read your books there. The app lives on your phone.

Is there a time limit to download my ebooks?

Yes. You need to download within 14 days after purchase.

Can I share ebooks I buy from you with other people?

Within your immediately family, sure. But please do not share with anyone outside your home, or with, you know, the entire freaking world. Each ebook we sell is watermarked for the customer we sold it to. Sharing widely is prohibited, and storm troopers will come to your home.
