Preston the Provider is a science fiction time travel novella—longer than a short story but not a long as a novel.

"Bloody Signorina" is a short story that first ran in Hitchcock's, and was a finalist for a mystery award.

Behind the Story...

When I was a kid, I wrote short stories and mailed them out to various magazines, hoping to get my big break. Mostly I just collected rejection slips. I almost let the dream die...until I reached my forties. That's when I started sending stories out again. To my delight they were accepted by some of the best mystery magazines in the world. You will find many of those stories in these collections. Enjoy!
